Debian Woody Intallation problems

Hi,

I am running standard Debian Woody (3.0r1) on Intel.

There are .deb binaries available, but they were apparently compiled
against "Unstable". They require libc6 version greater than my
version. I don't like messing with libc6 versions, so these .debs are
useless to me.

Next, I tried to compile the vm from source. I get the following error:

In file included from
/usr/local/src/Squeak-3.4-1/platforms/Cross/plugins/B3DAcceleratorPlugin/sqOpenGLRenderer.c:30:
/usr/local/src/Squeak-3.4-1/platforms/Cross/plugins/B3DAcceleratorPlugin/sqOpenGLRenderer.h:9:
GL/glx.h: No such file or directory
/usr/local/src/Squeak-3.4-1/platforms/Cross/plugins/B3DAcceleratorPlugin/sqOpenGLRenderer.c:33:
warning: #warning "This system does not support OpenGL 1.1"
make[1]: *** [sqOpenGLRenderer.lo] Error 1
make: *** [B3DAcceleratorPlugin.la] Error 2

Am I missing something? Or is there a Debian module I require?

Could somebody please assist me.

Thanks,
Arne
