[Q] How to get rid of flaps for presentation?

Look at the first item in the desktop's "flaps..." menu.
Alternatively, use the desktop-command-key "cmd-shift-F".

Bring up the halo menu for the BookMorph -- the last item there is
"book...", which offers navigation controls, etc.
