package-cache is the default repository and
is located relative to the squeak image.
Looks like it is currently not intended 
to remove it - but if you move your squeak image
to a different directory you may want to evaluate 

     MCCacheRepository resetDefault

to clean the cache. Monticello now sets the correct
defaut repository relative to your image home
directory again.
