If you are going to pursue ANSI compatiblity, can you communicate with me
off-list regarding the ANSI compatible Chronology package that could be
included in this task ?

SM has 1.2 for 3.6 - I have a 1.3beta compatible with 3.7a which is fully
ANSI compliant but has new features.
