Hi,

as discussed in length on the Seaside mailing-list [1], a selection of 
the aims of SmallWiki [2,3] are 

- to be dialect independent
- not to make the same mistakes as SWiki and WikiWorks again
- compete PHP, Zope, ...

The port of John Brant to .Net and #Smalltalk wouldn't have been 
possible if we used non-ansi features ...

:\ I intended to ask for the status of the port of HttpView to Seaisde, but dropped this from this posting ...
