  As Ed-san wrote, Nihongo ("Japanese language" in Japanese) version
is based on the "previous" m17n work.  Abe-san nicely packaged it so
that Japanese kids can use Squeak without seeing any English words
(well, almost).  A rough analogy is that the Nihongo image is the
Squeakland image as the m17n image to the mainstream image.

  The latest version Nihongo3 and Nihongo4 are considered to be
"stable" version and have been used in many places.  (Take a look at

  My plan is to make Nihongo5 based on the "new" implementation of
m17n Squeak.
