Never! You apostate - beware of triggering a fatwah against you!

Fudging a double-click to be a third button is probably not a good idea,
at least given the usage to which the third button is normally put in
Squeak. Cognitive clash, y'see; the reasonable thing to expect from a
double-click is
a) what a single click would have done (select something for example)
plus
b) an extension of that to actually do something with said selection.
Like maybe opening a window of a suitable type to edit the selected
thingy.

At the moment we use
button A - select
button B - context dependent menu (normally the context is decided by
the window/subview in use but it could be more tightly conected t the
selection in some applications)
button C - menu (or halo in morphic) to control the properties of the
window/view/morph.

Oh and we _do_ use double-clicks in Smalltalk, to select related letter
groups.
