Opinions requested on the following outline plan for making the the
VMMaker package ready for 3.6:-

- include all appropriate parts of Andreas' improvements and Lex's
Island-helper changes and John's gc improvements.

- separate out the VMMakerTool UI since non-morphic images will not load
it.

- validate the Balloon3D package that is currently not in the VMM
package

- provide an install script to make it easy to get all the right parts.

What am I forgetting?
