[BUG]lousy code in Sensor/EventSensor

Hi Tim,

Very interesting. I think you're on to something. Keep looking at
EventSensor and try out the proposal by both Lex and me to forget about
ioProcess and rather fetch events from the primitive directly in #nextEvent.
At the very least it should ensure much more accurate profiler results.
