Changing the keyboard focus from the PTM to the menu causes the
selection to be lost.

The selection interval should be saved and restored after the menu
invocation.

Also, instead of using #primaryHand, we should be using #activeHand to
communicate our intentions better. (They answer the same hand, but we
really want the active one).
