Hey Tim. Thanks for the feedback. Your comments are regarding the CommentNotePad app UI make sense. Is there a button Morph that stays down after being pressed? If so, I'll swap in buttons in place of the current check-box list.
I'm planning to get rid of most of the tiny-menu options. The summary comments and the QA-tag buttons/check-box list will go in the main window. Also I'll put a pane at the bottom for listing attachments.
Right now "the developers" is just me :) I have a couple of other loading/sorting/filtering issues to resolve; when those are tested I'll release the next minor version and then go to work on the CommentNotePad.
I'd like to get these UI changes made this weekend but I am crazy busy at work right now. So if anyone out there wants to pitch in and submit an improved CommentNotePad along the lines of Tim and Daniel's recent comments -- feel free!

Subject: On using the bugfixarchive tool
I've just installed this tool for the first time and have a few
suggestions for the developers.
First - great idea!
The UI needs a bunch of work. Using the 'mini-menu' is tedious. Buttons!
Exactly the sort of thing buttons were made for. Please include all the
needed tags. The summary editor ought to be a simple text field. The
name(s) of attachment(s) should be shown in a little (preferably
selectable) list at the bottom.
Attachment reading - could someone please take a look and see what the
name of the attachment file in
email-file-repository/swiki.gsug.org/sqfixes/3378-attachments is? It
_should_ be 2003-06-05 (simulator fixes).zip but came out on my machine
as just 2003-06-05 and the string in the image was '2003-06-05{char 32}
(simulator{char 97}fixes).zip which seems a bit odd. I suspect that
somewhere I need to do more badChar checking.
Email formatting - see apparent complaint in mailheader attached to my
first mail:-

Looks like the mail code needs a few changes.
