[UPDATES] 5259 fixed, and a do-it for everyone who's already updated

Update 5259 has now been overwritten so that the postscript also resets 
the deadServer, so things should be working again for anyone who has not 
yet updated to 5259.

For anyone who *has* updated to 5259, you'll need to execute the 
following in a workspace in your image in order to be able to retrieve 
more updates in the future:

Socket deadServer: ''.

Now we can go about fixing the smaller items with the network rewrite...
