[ENH/GOODIE] Breakpoint support for Squeak

If anyone is planning on putting this on SqueakMap, the attached 
might be a useful change to incorporate -- it makes the one method in 
Ernest's fileout that was in conflict with 3.4/3.5 consistent with 
the current code base.
