I just dl'd and compiled the source and here's the resaults: 

Machine: Athlon 800, 390 MB PC133 RAM.
Compiler: GCC 3.2.2  ( -O2, default )

Results: 

BINARY:  865,556k

tinyBenchmarks: 

42,105,263 bytecodes/sec
1,931,518 Sends/sec

Interpriter remake (procedure as described in a post long long ago on
benchmarks): 

25.369 seconds.

Evaluation:

Wheather its the compiler or improvments in the VM, this one is about 
5 MIPS faster than the previous one...
