Me too. Now.. how can I request this (again) without sounding like a
martinet -

Stephane (and everyone), could you now configure your mail program or do
whatever is necessary so that you don't always include the entire text of
what you're replying to ?

And in those cases when it's necessary, cite only those specific lines
which are necessary for context. Cut out the rest. It is needless clutter
that makes your messages hard to read, which is a pity. 

This is good practice which helps us communicate more effectively.
