Well, define 'ship it' and 'file system support'. There's a large world
between a custom-built kernel-with-special-app running off a romfs on
flash memory in a printer and SuSE 8.1 with enterprise volume
management, XFS, and what not on a quad Xeon with Ultra320 RAID array. 

But yes, it's the heart of the matter :-)
