[BUG] keystrokes doesn't work properly in PasteUp World (3.2 and 3.4)

No, problem. 

The affect on behaviour resulting from the various
possible combinations and permutations of preference
settings gets more than a little complicated. Yikes!
How do you figure out all possible tests to write for
all these possibilities? A bit of a rhetorical
question, I guess.

I was wondering about that. I forgot to add in my
previous post that I noticed that in the fresh image I
downloaded cmd-shift-L did open a file list when the
desktop was the focus.
