  As many of those already know, Sony Computer Entertainment announced
that thier plan to launch "PlayStation Portable" handheld game
console.  It is essentially a handheld size first PlayStation with
480x272 pixel LCD display.

  Of course, it is going to have 3D hardware accelaration and rich
Sound/Video capability.  This can be a great platfrom for
mobile-Croquet, or whatever.

  According to an article on the web, the first PlayStation chip was
fabricated in 600nm process rule, while this PSP chip is in 90nm.
This means that now the circuit of the original only takes 2.25% area
in PSP chip.  The Moore's law is surely impressive.
