Yes. I don't quite see why you'd want it but it should work. There haven't
been any VM changes in a while so all you're missing out on may be a couple
of fixes that went into the VM since. BTW, is there any particular problem
that's bothering you? It'd be good to let the VM maintainers know, y'know
;-)
