If no one objects, I'll change the verbiage on the projects page so
that, rather than
first saying the page is mostly obsolete, it notes
that most active programming projects are maintained on and available
from SqueakMap,
but that many other projects, old and new may be found in the listing
below on that page.

Absolutely no objection to this adaptation ...

I think it was me and somebody other who put the note on the 'All
projects' page ( http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak/1406 ) that said
that it is mostly obsolete and that active programming projects are
reflected on SqueakMap.

May I ask others to have a look at this page as well and change it if
necessary. Generally I think we should weed out things which are
obsolete as the add to mental clutter and obscure the really active and
exciting things.

This would put all this kind of info immediately accessible in one place.
I can imagine a pretty simple program that would cross-post a summary
every week or so (and a nice demo -- that page could be footnoted by the
code that produced it ;-).
Just a thought.

Surely nobody has an objection if you would do this Dan.
In fact the 'All projects' page contains quite some obsolete
stuff and is very difficult to maintain. So an automatic solution
would be fine. However there are lists and reports on SM as well.

Thank you for the work on the Squeak PC. This will surely rise the
interest in Squeak projects again.
