  Hello,

As Alan wrote, the copyright holder is Ball State University. You
can imagine that it would not be as simple as re-copyrighting Squeak
itself <g>.

Viewpoints Research has the right to distribute; as far as I know,
the term require us not to make any profit.

So, one can argue that why we bother to charge a nominal fee, when
it doesn't have to be profitable. And, yes, spreading words of mouth
is one of the biggerst reason for this DVD to exist after all.

On the other hand, Viewpoints Research always welcomes donations.
The Executive Director is thinking to start donation raising activity
on the web and this DVD can be a part of it.

I don't recommend you to copy, nor rip the disc off at this point
(although strictly speaking the copyright holder wouldn't like the
idea), but I hope that the physical disc and professionally designed
jacket have some value that justify $8 and hope that who can afford it
afford it.
