The server side of things belongs with Ken Causey, so I'll leave him to answer this.

Yes, it occurred to me just as I committed your changeset that we might want this "per default" - that any mails sent from within Squeak had an X-Squeak-Version header. But then, I thought, maybe we don't want to force this on people, so I left the commit.

So in the end I remain undecided :) I can see the utility in having this header to (sometimes) ease debugging (because, for instance, I often mail bug reports in my usual mail client and not through Squeak) though.
