Is it possible to retrieve the latest update number (and other information)
in the description of patch servers? This requires connecting first before
selecting, so possibly a seperate path (probably Preference, or combination
of seperate menu/UI invokation). More specifically, it is possible, but how
desired and/or practical would such a verbotic addition inspire?
