saving in Linux

Dear Squeak Folks:
I have successfully installed Squeak on a Linux machine at our school.
My plan is to use it in our lab for "intro to programming" classes K-8
grades. I have one problem, however. When I try to Publish, the save
requestor defaults to a C: directory, which of couse doesn't exist in
Linux. If I click on the save buttons, Squeak locks up. I'm sure there
is a way to configure the saving function - I just haven't figured it
out yet.
Any clues as to how to do this?
Thanks.....
