here and there so it will take time.

Yes, it would allow for creation of "regular Gtk apps". The Gtk windows
are on their own and I am using libglade so you can build the UIs using
Glade.

BUT... I have just started this. Sure, the UIs come up fine - but the
hard stuff is left to do: callbacks. So currently they are "dead ducks".
