Resilient is a secure, object-oriented, serviceable, real-time software
platform for embedded devices. The platform enables developers to debug,
profile, and update code running on embedded devices in the field,
vastly improving reliability and development productivity.
The compactness of Resilient makes it possible to fit the virtual
machine, core libraries,
device drivers, TCP/IP networking stack, and user applications in less
than 128KB of memory.

A technology preview of the Resilient(TM) software platform for embedded
devices is now available. It can be downloaded from our company web site
http://www.oovm.com/ and it is free for non-commercial use.

Resilient is developed by Lars Bak the father of the HOTSPOT tm java
Virtual Machine.
Lars Bak is a technology industry veteran with more than 15 years
experience in virtual machine
technology, product engineering and management. Prior to founding OOVM
in 2002, Lars was the
main architect of the Java HotSpot virtual machine at Sun Microsystems,
Inc., a highly successful
product with more than 50 million installations worldwide. At Sun, Lars
was also the main architect of the
CLDC HotSpot virtual machine, a new high-performance system for mobile
phones. Lars holds a MS degree
in Computer Science and has 17 patents in virtual machine technology.
