Before ideas for 3.8 let us do a postmortem analysis

Hi

This mail will certainly generate a lot of reaction but let us go for 
that!
It is composed of two points:

- I think that even if 3.7 was good from a process point of view and 
the changes that were included (initialize, SM,...), the end (the 
beta/gamma) phase did not work that well.  And we should learn from it.

- Second, in 3.7 we got the squeakland fixes back in the stream and 
this is good because
we had an implicit fork. Let us face it. Now diego is dying under the 
problems that he has to work
with small-land and thinking about forking. So I would like that the 
community
takes the times to listen what he wants to say. Diego please let us 
know your problem.
