I used the following with success with a Windows VM:
C:\Entwicklung\Squeak\3.7alpha\Squeak.exe celeste.image
celesteNoStartUp.sq

The file celesteNoStartUp.sq contains Smalltalk code which is run on
startup. See the description of <argument> in:
