I would recommend that you consider using Squeak 3.6 instead for StarBrowser.

Also, DVS is only needed for one of the extensions, as I recall. You can 
install the .st files directly.

I intend to package an updated version of StarBrowser (for 3.8) but I don't 
know when I can get to it.
