Question: What is the prefered tool for mailing list reading?

I use procmail on our IMAP server to filter list messages into a
special mail box, separate from my regular mail. For reading I use
Apple Mail, which I'd call a "normal mail client", but it does support
threading. I used Mozilla Thunderbird before, which I can recommend,
too.
[Even more OT] Funny fact: there is an increasing number of people who
equate email with a web mail interface. They seem to coincide with
those people preferring web forums over mailing lists, because those
are nicely threaded. *sigh*
