I'm glad you've made some progress.

I would highly recommend getting an IRC client (Squeak has one) and
coming to #squeak on irc.freenode.net.  We have regularly scheduled
harvesting parties which are announced on this mailing list, but many of
us are there at other times.  You can generally find me during US
daytime hours on weekdays.  Working on little issues can go much faster
in realtime and at least when I harvest I find it useful to have other
people around I can ask for quick opinions.
