Even though I haven't checked if it matters in this specific case you
should know that printing to Transcript inside a benchmark is a big NO,
NO. :)

PS. I looked at WriteBarrier the other day and that is slick stuff,
probably the best solution we can have before adding a immutability bit
to the object header (which I think we are planning for the 4.0 VM when
the object format changes).
