As explained SqueakSource has been hacked together within a few days
by Adrian and me. It hasn't been designed to host 200 and more
projects. To make it scale for the next few years it is required that
we rethink the whole implementation and use a different storage
system.

We started on a rewrite of SqueakSource during last ESUG and continued
till the beginning of this year a few hours a week. As we updated to
the latest version of Seaside it is far from complete and many parts
are broken or unfinished.

Life is all about priorities:

1. writing for the university to finally get the diploma
2. writing payed web-application to have a shelter and food
3. writing open-source software to have fun, work with other people
and enhance our skills

> how can we, the Squeak community, help speed it up?

Sure, ask for developer access and commit your code.

> Where's the SqueakSource 2 development site?

Obviously on SqueakSource itself.

http://www.squeaksource.com/ss/

> Who coordinates contributions?

The two of us.

Cheers,
Adrian and Lukas
