This is a low-key announcment of the availability of an early beta version  
of The Chronos Date/Time Library (for VisualWorks Smalltalk.)

It's a beta version because a) the documentation is only 80% complete, and  
b) support for leap seconds has not yet been implemented.  It's an  
**early** beta version because it has not yet been tested by a large user  
base.  However, there are no known bugs.
