Hi Ben,

Can you provide any insights to Chris seeing I haven't modified this portion
of the code at all from what you put together originally. Let me know
otherwise I'll try to find some time this weekend to look at this.

John

John, as much as I love the look, I am very quickly starting miss the window
resizing functionality, e.g. being able to resize in any direction. With
LookEnhancements, windows that are not positioned in the upper-left of the
screen require at least twice as many gestures to resize, be it larger or
smaller.

Worse, many times all I want to do is quickly "peek" at the contents of a
short
window against the bottom-edge of the screen (for example, the Transcript in
my
screen-shot at http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/squeak/5729). Before, I could
simply drag the top edge to size it up, peek at what I need to peek at and,
without ever letting go of the mouse button, roll it back down to where it
was;
leaving the layout of my windows intact. With LookEnhancements its
three-times
as many gestures to do this.

Window moving and sizing is an area where Squeak's performance isn't exactly
light and snappy, so requiring these extra gestures really makes the system
feel "heavy" and sluggish and tiring.

Can you give me a hint or pointer in the code to where/how I can restore the
ability to resize in any direction?

Thank you!
Chris
