The mini-version of a Project thumbnail is just a bitmap, the widgets
represented are not operational.  If this is ok, you could copy that approach.

Maui does this for the balloon help in its context menu; i.e., when you hover
over the various view names that you've defined, it shows a "mini" version of
that view in the balloon.
