I think the first step is to have a stable branch and a developement branch.
Professional programmers have very different needs in respect of the 
developers of squeak.

For instance, Ruby On Rails or Perl are a dream to use...
Viceversa, my Squeak code is two years old: I must spend 2 days to 
re-port it to Squeak 3.9 and it will not work at the first shot :(
So my old squeak code is likely to die soon :-|
