Flash Support In Squeak

But I'm not sure that makes sense, why wouldn't we use macromedia's reader
which attaches to most browsers on its own?  Could we use the macromedia
reader directly in squeak apps?  The flash player is free.

I'm guessing that they want us to use their reader in order to keep control
of the format.

I think the complaint centres around this fun phrase in the legal stuff:

3. Restrictions
a.  You may not use the Specification in any way to create or develop  
a runtime, client, player,
executable or other program that reads or renders .swf.
