the world), a bit there (change ^ to return), a twist or two  
(y'know , at_put(myCollection, 42, thingy) is *so* much more familiar  
to java programmers, and we really ought to declare types statically  
so that d-flat users can understand it) and before you know it we  
have something as useless, pointless, boring, and utterly  
uninteresting as the drivel everyone else uses.

Just my opinion, of course. Not a humble one either but then most of  
you know that already.
