How to get access to Mac OS X fonts?

Yes. You would need to port the FontPlugin to OS X. It is only  
available on Windows, right now (http://map1.squeakfoundation.org/sm/ 
package/802d4df0-71b5-43c0-9ee6-26fdd9bb828e).
