Slate is very good and interesting language. My feeling is that Slate 
has lost elegance of Self a bit but that’s not the reason why I’ve 
created Marvin.

My motivation was integration with Squeak. That’s the reason why I 
haven’t adopted some of Slate ideas. Be sure I don’t think that Marvin 
is better than Slate. Marvin is just an attempt to implement classless 
programming paradigm for Squeak. With all pros and cons.
