Building the VM got easier? 64 bit ready?

I'm running  a 32 bit VM (3.8a-2 from 
http://squeak.hpl.hp.com/squeak64/dist3/) compiled for 64 bit AMD 
(because the image conversion tool 32 -> 64 did not work for me). I 
have no complains except that network stuff is broken. But if the 
64bit team needs help wrt testing, please tell me.
