But why we can't you save your MCConfig in a method of a class that  
you version.?

We have been doing that for 3.9 all the time (not using MCConfig  
because it was not working for 3.9 management
but if you look at ScriptLoader this is a container of loading- 
configuration scripts and they are all versioned on squeaksource).
