It activates itself when installed.

Do you see any new fonts when you set, for example, the List font from the
World, Appearance, System fonts... menu?
If not, then perhaps you are missng the FT2Plugin. Evaluate this in a
workspace...
    FT2Version current
it should answer '2.2.1'. If it answers nil, then the plugin is missing.
