- proxyobject (Bert's idea + Ramon optimization)
I like this solution but maybe not as efficient, thread safe (what 
peaople mean by that?)

- scanner modification (I think Vassili's contribution...)
in this case, I like ';;' too...

hope I didn"t miss another way...
