Dear Squeakers,

I think some easy-to-follow instruction needs to be put on Squeak 
website regarding installation of VM on 64bit machines. It seems that 
many people have troubles with that (me included).

Namely, for installation on 64bit (x86_64) Linux systems you need to run 
INSTALL with additional parameter:

	./INSTALL i686-pc-linux-gnu

that is, with a directory where binaries reside, otherwise script 
reports error:

	Your architecture appears to be: x86_64-linux-gnu.
	No binaries/libraries found for x86_64-linux-gnu.
