I would wait until February when the official SDK from Apple is out.
If you do it now, you depend on hacks that will very likely be
obsolete anytime soon.

I think it would be very promising to adopt the OB-Web interface. This
means you use the web browser to browse and edit a remote image.
OB-Web probably runs on the iPhone out of the box, but I assume that
you will need to adopt the UI.
