SqueakLight history could be found here http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/3935
and if you read Spanish a more informal history here
http://wiki.gnulinex.org/squeakros/7
This was a hand made , a first step to me learn the complex of shrink and
have a working system.
This image is 3.7 based, and could be used to load any 3.7 and much of 3.8,
3.9 and 3.10.
The smaller version is 394 of less 4 mb .
I not work on it any more.

SqueakLightII is Unofficial 3.11, you could find the info here
http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/6056

So is 3.10 , more modular and of 2/3 of size.

Could be used like regular Squeak and I continue the polishing with all
help.

At the moment use the same http://ftp.squeak.org/3.9/SqueakV39.sources.gz
sources of 3.9 final and 3.10, but this could change to have a "Class
repository" similar I got from 3.8 in 2005

ftp://squeakros.atspace.com/squeakros.atspace.com/CompressedClasses/

password is squeak

IMHO is a necessary small step to image being more and more modular, keeping
as much backward compatibility as possible.

The fact is the image could load almost the same 3.10 load and also some
projects originated in older Squeaks.
