Thank you John! Re mantis issue 7384: I tried installing Package Universe -> User Interface -> Genie into a current 3.10 
trunk image. It fails to compile, as with the 4.1.1 vm. (It does work in the 3.10.2-7179-basic image, which I guess is 
not closure-ized, with both vms.)
