[squeak-dev] Retiring the Announcements list

I created the Announcements mailing list almost four years ago with the
goal of increasing the communication with those who have some interest
in Squeak but are unwilling to monitor Squeak-dev. I expected that it
would take some time for its use to become standard; but I'm ready to
give up because it hasn't happened yet. In the past year there have
been only 31 submissions to this list and most months there have only
been 1 or 2. I haven't tried to count them but in that same time period
there have been many more announcements that simply have not been sent
to the announcements list.
